At the start of 2018, Shannon's cousin Freya spent around three months receiving care from the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the hospital. Wanting to help support the unit, Shannon recently completed a Tough Mudder raising a fantastic £570 for Scoo-B-Doo!

Shannon commented: “I wanted to raise money for Scoo-B-Doo by completing something that would push me outside of my comfort zone and test my strength, stamina and determination, all for a great cause! If the money raised contributes to another child’s life and helps them to grow up healthy and happy like Freya then that is the biggest reward for me!”
